This deeply moving nationally-known retreat weekend encourages spiritual renewal and sisterhood. Joan and Elizabeth facilitate a passage of awakening that transcends religious ideologies.

We draw on Judeo-Christian, Eastern and other ancient wisdom traditions to bring us to a new awareness of self and others. Through meditation, centering prayer, healing practices, yoga, and music, we renew or learn new practices for managing stress, releasing blocks towards loving personal relationships, or rediscovering purpose.

We will learn how to "be with" recent world events with peace and purpose. Our work together can free creativity, compassion, and strength. We will learn that silence can nourish body, mind and spirit, thus connecting more deeply to Divine Love and Wisdom.

We will end with a ceremony for peace for the world and ourselves.

Joan Borysenko, Ph.D. is a renowned author, scientist, and mystic. Her book “Inner Peace for Busy Women” is the latest in many best selling works. She is president of Mind-Body Health Sciences, Inc. in Boulder, Colorado and teaches at seminars and retreats worldwide.

Elizabeth Lawrence, MA is a Pastoral counselor, mediator and ordained spiritual healer. She has developed The LuMarian™ Method to release old disruptive patterns and memories. She is in private practice in Upper Saddle River, NJ where she counsels and teaches individuals, families and groups.
