This ad is the fourth one we have created for "K" Line's Japan headquarters, through their U.S. marketing firm, The Abrahamson Group. In the past, we were asked to submit concepts in a competition with other international firms. Our ideas were selected for the past three years. This year we were given the assignment without any competition.

The ad was produced in both English and Japanese versions and will run in magazines throughout Asia and Europe. The client supplied the Japanese translation of the copy which we wrote and we set the Japanese type. There were a total of 16 different ad sizes. The main visual is a rights licensed stock photo that was altered with the addition of the "K" Line stack logo. The smaller ship images were supplied by "K" Line.
